Ugh, I tried to reboot in safe mode, but instead I got a list of places to boot from (HDD 0, HDD1, floppy, etc).

Any other ways I can reboot in safe mode?

reboot the computer.

1. you will get a device listing etc etc.
2. it will start to try to boot from cd, or floppy.
3. the second that screen starts to change hit F8

you should beable to reach safemode from there.

When it asks where to boot from, I don't press anything?

I only hit F8 after that screen?
