well its 1:00 and already it has been a hard day. i woke up at 4 am because i was freezing my balls off. went downstairs to look at the thermostat and it read 52 degrees. ya our furnace is busted. so i make some food and do some homework. then i remember the cable guy is supposed to come between 8 and 10 so i stay downstairs.

at 9 i hear a knock. its the furnace guy! cool. so he goes about his business and says theres a broken valve or whatever and he'll fix it.

i have a class at 11 and a 4 mile bikeride to get there, so i need to leave by atleast 10:30, preferably 10 so i can dry out when i get there. at 9:50 the cable guy gets here, and takes his sweet time. (atleast he's intelligent though. the last time they came it was just an utter waste of time). so at 10:25 he tells me its fixed and he leaves. (whether its fixed or not is yet to be seen.)

so im off for school. my toes are cold before i walk out the door cause its so cold in my house. then i get outside on my bike and its 15 degree with probably a -20 windchill when im on my bike.

why didnt i take my car you ask? its hibernating for the winter it seems. the alternator is aparently busted, and the battery dead. ug

oh ya, and i just got home and it hasnt gotten any warmer yet


somebody tell me their day was worse and make me feel better please :happysad:

 

Power was out for the entire neighborhood this morning, making everybody late for school or work, and no heat or lights because of it. I have to pay digital cable/internet bill and TXU electricity bills today before theyre cut off and have a job interview at 2 (about an hour from now), and those are never fun. After that off I go to the wonderful world of delivering pizza part time with a brake pad squealing all night:
