WOHOO!!! So i come in to work today at 1, they were having their annual potluck and award thingy that they usually do at the end of the yaer usually in december. Well yae so i'm a bit late from school and all the food is cold, and i walk into the meeting room with my department and the VP is talkin about the next year's projects and stuff. Then the awards comes along and 4 scientist get a crystal award type thing and a bonus of 300 dollars i think. So then comes the last award and he's talkin about me, and saying that it wasnt in their plans but from all the feedback of the department they thoguht they should make a new award for that person (ME) so he says carlos!! and hands me a 15gb iPod!! and i'm like NICE!!!! and yea thank everyone, i was not totally expecting that! he pumped me for info monday about this and talked about his son wanting one and if i knew anything about mp3's and i mentioned the ipod...basterd got me good!!!

I dont think 300 is cheap...not to mention its a gift... Plus i dont see anythign wrong with the iPod....

I've had a first gen iPod since the first week they were in stores... and it rocks! My only complaint is that it's only 5GB, so I guess you've got that covered
