For my previous car, I had to fabricate the seat bases out of 4340 bar stock. [Talk about a PITA.]

I bought my 2 Sparco Sprints, 5pt., 4" Camlock Harnesses and sliders from Conversion Techniques in Oakland, CA. A great company BTW.

I'd check Sparco's website for links to authorized dealers in your area.

I'm always sketched out by those ultra-cheap seat offers. :eh: Don't cheap out on safety. Some of those knock-offs are seriously sketchy. I don't want to die on account of a seat frame failing in an accident that would otherwise be survivable. :ugh:

Depends on what sliders you get....mine sit as high as stock.

The Sparco Sprints I bought are a fixed-back design (FYI). When I installed them in the Swift GTI Hatch, it made the rear seat completely useless. Not only are the fixed back seat an issue, but the routing of the harnesses prevented anyone from sitting back there.

What vehicle are these seats going into?
Is back seat access an issue?
What are your intentions for using the seats? (Auto-X, Street Perfomance, etc.)
What's your budget?

The best piece of advice I can give is to NEVER cheap-out on safety equipment. Ever.

I have the Recaro sliders, they have 3 different mounting holes for the height...
