there's a lot more to the game than most people think. it's not just about luck.
there's a lot of technique and attitude and experience that goes into it.
a friend of mine reads books on it and he hasn't had a job in a while. instead he plays online holdem and makes as much money as me working full time. he rips me a new one every time we play too. oh well.

I remember when Magic the Gathering was popular in middle school. Man talk about pathetic. Then yo-yos got popular...

we each buy in $10...then divide all the chips (there are way more than neccesary) and play no limit till someone wins the pot. each time someone gets eliminated, the anti goes up, and the anti is the minimun bet as well.

it's funny...my friend went all-in (he was sure he was gonna win) and i called him (i had more chips) and he had a flush. there were 3 clubs showing, and he had a 3 and 7 of clubs. i had a 5 and jack of clubs :fawk:

he stood up, went face down in the couch and started screaming. i wish i had it on tape...it was the funniest reactions ever.

Well since this post I'm up another $125...bringing my grand total to about $275 over the last 2 months. I just won two tournaments on partypoker.com for $50.
