Default oH noES!!!1~

My TiVo is messed up. Went to add a second hard drive and I wasn't wearing a wrist strap ...I think I screwed something up. Now it won't go past the "Almost there..." screen. :wtc:
I had a bunch of shows that I didn't get to watch yet. Now I gots to find another SVR-2000 quickly...'cause I'm gonna miss all my shows next week.

just left it overnight on the Green Screen of Death while it tried to repair itself, and it's working now!

but it's not reporting the full capacity of both my 120GB Hard drives.

Next time, touch the power supply before working on it.

Just as effective as a wrist strap.

Edit: I highly doubt your problem was static though.

yeah, it wasn't...it was a software problem.
but touching the power supply on the TiVo is a :nono:...it's not shielded, I could get shocked, or damage the power supply.
