yeah, I don't see people catching on to associating "VW = luxury"....not to mention that if 5300 lbs is the actual curb weight, its a giant boat.

Yeah but if you see its size in real life you will understand the weight because it is not a small car at all.

As for Sadiztiks comments you are forgetting a few things...new engine technology...W12 add to that VW teaming up with Bugatti on new projects such as this and you get a whole new luxury level.

Yeah they have had some problems on the Jettas but the Toureg has been getting amazing reviews and competes directly with vehicles many times its cost. VW did hit a slump but it happens and they are rebounding quite nicely.

I also seem to find it funny that people aren't making these kinds of comments about the Audi when they are produced in the exact same factory as VW is

Grow up man.........the Cabrio is a whole different vehicle from anything else offered by VW.

You are an amateur jumping on the Honda vs VW bashing bandwagon and your opinions on the matter are complete shit...you can't back it up with anything solid nor do you present your argument with the logic of a person wanting logical debate.

Welcome to the real world where some people are elitist pricks....it happens. Do you judge everything about a car based on your experience at a dealership? If that were the case I doubt any single car company would sell shit for cars because everyone has had bad experiences at the dealership at some point.

Learn to temper your arguments and opinions with a little tact and a little less anger because no one is going to take you serious regardless if you have a valid comment or not

rebounding? they have 4 end of life models on the market, and their sales dropped 8% last year.

My immediate thought... much like the "luxury" Kia's and Huyndai's

Edit: But on second thought.... dot.commers and yuppies may have fond memories of their former Jetta's and Golfs.. and say... "Oh yeeeah"

Yeah I know, But they are real elistist pricks. no wonder there are almost no VWs here

and most people do base cars on the bases of how they get treated in the Dealership.

A dealer is often representing the entire company, and if he acts like a cock who doesnt care then most people would take that as the companies view.
