Posted on the Accord forum too... so quit yer bitching

My speedometer keeps cutting in and out, it just started happening today and all other gauges work. Has anyone encountered a similar problem, I know it could be as simple as a loose wire. But, my experience with Honda says wires don't suddenly get loose.

Dammit, guess I can never have a car with a working speedometer.

 

i remember my neon used to go all the way up to 120mph when im backing out of the drive way, but i had & still have no clue what it could be. i know, this reply didnt help, just my 2 cents

 

Appears 1994 Accords had an issue with the Vehicle Speed Sensor since they stopped using the cable in 1993. Great now I have to spend $200 on the sensor.

Did I mention I hate life, can't win... its one thing or the other.
