Default USPS media mail

I need to send a package about 50lbs 2'x1'x1'

it doesnt fit into "media mail" qualifications but it is 25 dollars cheaper to ship and i dont care how long it takes. do you think usps will deny me for shipping it? i packed it in a box and wrapped it with a lot of tape so you cant really tell what is inside.

i think there is a package weight limit that the post office accepts ... or is it a dimension limit. i think it might be both.

Let me guess what it is.......A GSR head? I think its to big and heavy for USPS to ship. I think you will end up having to ship it through UPS or Fedex.

Does it give any reason why it doesn't fit the "media" requirements? What is "media" anyway?

I have no idea why it would not meet the requirements as long as they don't know whats in it. I would try to ship it and see what they say.
