Dammit. How do i fix the AIM Profile Virus?! Its says Whoooaa look what i found!

i tryed searching for the av.exe file. no dice.

what is the file called?

all you have to do is look at your own profile and click on the link, it will then give you the site, and do not click install for the thing that pops up no matter how many times it does. it will then have a link that says something like "if you have our adware and want to get rid of it, click here" do that and it will give you 2 things to install, do that and youre golden, just erase it from your profile

 

w32.pinfi = the virus u got good luck getting rid of it it's infected many a files...i removed the virus from my friends comp by restarting in safe mode and scanning/repairing the files and after that deleted some extra files that could not be repaired..insignificant files...just do a search on the virus i listed

 

download ad-aware and run it.

 

i think if you right click it, select edit hyperlink, change it to something different. Close it, save your profile then exit out of aim and log back in, then you can just delete the link and wit won't come back. I THINK, I heard someone doing that somewhere not too long ago, it's a quick simple task, if it doesn't work, oh well, it only took 12 seconds.
