If a mod is going to close a thread and write something, can their name be visible. I am really curious who closes which threads and for what reasons, and I bet members are too.

 

I'm curious too, but I think it's better the way it is. I feel that if a mod closes a thread, then it has violates some rule or another, and if it was closed unfairly, then other mods may reopen the thread(right?)... And it probably prevent crybabies from bitching at particular people too much

Sometimes they don't say "this is closed" before closing it... just close it.

 

Mods can find out who closed it.

when we had that little bar that showed the reason for closing it....sometimes it read something like ":closed:, :ghey:...or some other informative comment." :ugh:
