Back in the day the Ferraris and other exotics didn't have shift boots, instead they had a gated patten cut out. They looked pretty cool, so if someone did that to a Honda would it fall in the innovatively cool category or the ricer :ghey: category?

Hard to see but here is an example...

You would need a new transmission because the stick on a Ferrari remains verticle at all times, so I hear. On a Honda it tilts and angles as you shift. So it wouldn't really work.

I dunno if it would be that difficult, when I put the new headunit in I had to drive around for a couple of days with the interior torn apart and it didn't seem like the stick moved that much.

Chrome won't go with my car, if I do it its gonna be a simple finding a piece of black plastic and cutting out the gate pattern. Then spray painting my stick black and getting a new black shift knob.

You could shape the metal to angle with the stick....
