just did. i just saw a guy get hit by a car...:ugh:

luckily it wasnt a horrible one. so i was sitting at a light, and the perpendicular traffic going from my right to my left was moving, this included 2 lanes was were turning lanes only. the turning lanes had their own traffic light.

so the guy was waiting on the my right. he was kinda pouncing around. thats why he caught my attention. then the turning lane's light turned red. i guess the guy assumed that his light was about to turn green since the traffic he was seeing stopped. however, it was only the turning lanes that stopped. the traffic going straight didnt.

traffic was building on the turning lanes, so you can really see the traffic on the farther lanes. the guy sees the stop cars, and then darts through the crossing. i see a silver car going down the street momentary between the gaps of the stopped cars. i was like, oh shit.

i guess the guy finally sees it, kinda bends over with his hands out like he was going to keep the speeding car from hitting him. guess he wasnt strong enough. he gets hit and flips in the air. then got right back up and what i thought started running away.

then the silver car reversed a bit to get out of the intersection, and i see him there laying on the ground holding his thigh. then a couple cars pulled over to help him.

there was my accident

and once me an my gf were driving thru a residential area
sped limit 35 i think
two lanes and a center turn-in lane
a red car comes into the center lane going pretty fast, maybe 30 or so
i thought he was turning into a driveway
both of us look in the mirror and we see the red car head on into a highlander
we stopped and looked
both parties didnt seem too badly injured
the driver of the red car was a elderly asian man with his granddaughter
he said he couldnt see good

I saw a father and daughter (the daughter went to my elementry school) get hit by a van on a highway near me when I was 6.
And a few years ago, I saw some guy on a crotch rocket (far left lane) hit the grooves on the side of the road on Rt 80 and go flying off his bike across the highway. (He was wearing sandles, shorts, and a tshirt )

All lived.

Supposadly the dad and kid took a few months to recover.. and the guy on the bike seemd to only have a messed up his foot a little, he dragged his bike to the side of the road, then flagged down a van to take him to the hospital. My ex and I had pulled over, trying to flag people down who had a cell phone until he left. :dunno: He was lucky... he got thrown across the highway in front of cars (us included) fortunatly everyone was able to stop without an incident

 

Sadly enough, I have seen two people I knew killed in a car accident. It was Christmas mass and the two girls were crossing an intersection, with the cars going perpendicular with them. They were headed to the church to attend it, but of all fucking things that had to happen that day a drunk driver ran a red light, hit both of them and killed them instantly. The drunk driver then t-boned a truck, dragging it along and the truck skidded into a sedan. The fucker had to drink on that day and is now deserving 40 years in prison for it.

 

saw this truck in front of me swerving, like the driver was drinking or something. it was raining, and we were in a four lane highway. it was around 6 or 7, kinda dark out. next thing in know, this f150 (i think) is pretty much drifting, going completely SLIDEways. than his ass end finally slings him around, sends him flying into the gaurd rail. all right in front of me! so after it happened, i passed him, then got off the exit pulled over, crossed, and ran back and called 911...nuts

 

i saw a guy get hit by a car. it was on a backroads highway in south carolina. the car was going about 50-60 and hit him full force. killed the guy and knocked his pants/socks/shoes off.

 

in georgia, i was driving at night on a small freeway (4 lanes split ... like the 10 does out of arizona where one side is way far apart from the other) and this guy was swerving all around in front of us until he lost control and went over the edge and down the incline.

 

Something like that kinda happened to me...
In my 95 Coupe, I was leaving the highway, on a sharp exit ramp, there's some two door ford escort behind me on my ass. He decides he's going to pass me on the ramp (asshat) flies past me, skids out of control and does a 180 so that he's facing me (further down though), still coming down the ramp. I just pass him, lower my window, honk my horn and wave. LOL he was so pissed off.

 

I've never seen a person get hit, but here's my story:

I was at an intersection behind a vehicle. I was in the right lane and in the left lane was a hispanic guy in his white Civic coupe. He was of the ricer sort, so when the light turned green, I hesitated to let the car in front of me start moving. I wanted to see what this kid would do. Sure enough he guns it. I start rolling, look ahead, and see a car in the left hand lane stopped, waiting to turn left (no turn lane). I slowed almost to a stop to let the Civic pull in front of me. He was too busy looking back at me to see what I was doing. Next thing he knows, he sees the stopped car, lays on his brakes, and plows right into the car. Stuff shatters, ends up in my lane. I had no desire to stick around and have someone point the blame, so I drove on by (and right over part of his bumper) and boogied on out.
