What's everyone doing career wise in 2014-2015?
Left the oilfields.. a bit sooner than planned. Company got bought out and local office closed. Timing was perfect though, as I moved into a local position transporting a PET/CT scanner around the area. Home every night, take the truck home (day cab), 40 hour minimum salary and clock in between 26-30 hours.. so lots of free time. Been working on putting my own gig together doing event medical standbys. Been working on it every single day for the last 2 months, finally ready to get my first client.
Had two interviews this past week. Was offered a job at both, one for an Electrical Controls Engineer position and the other for an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer position. Weighing out the pros and cons of each before I accept either one.
Had an interview with the state of LA office of technology Friday. I think it went fairly well but it sounds like their hiring process is fairly slow so I mightn't find out anything for a couple weeks.
It's kind of scary since ~7 weeks from now makes 15 years with my current company.

Good Luck
Recently left my position as a part time supervisor at UPS after a year and a half to become a route sales support driver for Aramark. More hours, better pay, home at a decent time. I'm bout it.
Managing all Apple logo'd devices except watches and iPods on a 9500 user private university campus as the Tier-3 Technical Coordinator by day.
Making DIY videos for a fleet of project cars for a hungry YouTube audience that accidentally grew to roughly 50,000 subscriptions and 12 million views by night.
The channel keeps me busy. Sorry I 'been such a stranger. Meet Foofy...
