Default &$@#$!* weather....

So to make a long story short, we ended up with about an inch of ice covered with a foot of snow, which was covered with more ice. I tried to get out of the driveway, made it about 10 feet, and when I tried to back up again, I tore my splashguard pretty much out from under my car. To make things worst, I was completely stuck in the snow and couldn't go anywhere. I'm sick of this weather. Now I need to get up early tomorrow to try and fix the splashguard, or remove it all together. Should I worry about replacing it immediately, or should it be fine for now if I take it off?

Hey, c'mon now...I'm not used to this damn weather. Usually it doesn't stick around any more than a couple days. But the last week or so has been completely ridiculous...

It's not a big deal if you take it off for a while. Most of the bottom of the engine bay is left exposed by it anyway.

Yeah, we've been getting the left overs from your guys' crap here, in the Bay Area.

We've had rain solid for like the past month; I'm sick of it.

Do I need to worry about having one at all if I wash out the engine bay on a routine basis?

Man, I'll trade the rain anyday over the snow & ice...it's not a big deal in small doses, but it can go away now.

It doesn't really protect much. Plenty of people run around without em. Ideally you want to replace it but it's not a big deal if you don't rush to do so.

Right on...thanks. It'll be much easier just to pull it off.
