makes me sick.. it stinks, the apt/housing is small, you're better off using a cab, parking is big $$, along w/ everything else being over-priced... What's there to like?

the fact that we actually have places to go and things to buy? not just walmarts and kmarts and whatever marts are out there.

That is true.. I just grew up in the country, I've been to NYC a few times and it was a culture shock the first time around.:happysad:

In NYC, you can do WHATEVER you want, 24 hours a day. You can find anything you could ever imagine doing open 24 hours a day. Thats pretty appealing to me.

Public transportation is your friend.

Although I do agree, the cost of living here is much higher than most other area's... but I think it's worth it (eventually). Parking IS $$, but you just have to know where to find parking... I used to drive to work in NYC and pay $10 to park all day...
