Default uninsured driver hit me what do i do?

refer to this post to hear what happened

https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...hreadid=118073

but like the post title said an uninsured driver hit me

we exchanged information and she said she'll pay for my damages as long as i don't report it to the insurance... fact of the matter i have not yet but i will before the 48 hour mark....anyways she refuses to pay for the damages because she thinks the body shop is charging too much...but the fact of the matter is she hit me it's her fault and i'll go to whatever body shop i so please...correct me if i'm wrong but that is my right as the person who was hit

a cop who talked to me told me that if she decides to flake on the deal that i should just tell my insurance i was hit by an uninsured motorist and then pay my deductible and they'll pay for my damages....they will then go sue that ladies ass but i'm worried about my rates and points on my record....

she isn't hot for whoever asked...she's an hispanic mother in her 40s doesn't speak a word of english

if it wasnt your fault then you wont get any points, and your insurance should get hiked.

i don't get why people are worried about points on their insurance record if they're involved in a NON at fault accident. Go tell your ins company!
