i want to get big and there is a way to get growth hormones perscribed to you i am 20 yrs old and and about 5ft 6 in so i am short. does anyone on this forum take them?? www.humatrope.com

:rick: you can get them, but you have to have a prescription. The only way for you to be covered by insurance is that you are very short, way below average. I checked into it in high school because of basketball. Put it to you this way, it's 3 shots a month for 1 year. Each shot is $1,000. Insurance will not cover you unless you are super short. My uncle is a DR, Internal Medicine, and even he could not get them to cover it. I would be 6ft 5in if i would've taken those. :happysad:

 

i used to take those every day... i'm actually still supposed to i guess.. i was super short.. now im a little below average i guess.. but im still growing. :happysad:

 

I'm 6'5 and it isnt that great being that tall. I guess I can't understand your perspective is it really that bad being small? 5'6 isn't that short. I'd rather be smaller if I could, I'd fit in my car easier.

 

5'6'' is pretty short when i am at work if i like stand on a case of beer or like a milk crate then i am as tall as the rest of the people there. the only thing is i am 175 pounds and i have very little body fat so it could be harder for me to get but i want them bad i'm trying to think of what i should say to my doctor so that i can get them.

 

it cant be that bad, i'm 5'3 and i'm fine with it, i mean sure i'd love to be 5'6 but hey i dont have 36k to spend on growin! lol

 

my doctor thought i was growth hormone dificient... turns out i had crohns disease.. stupid cunt :sqfawk:

oh well, at least i got to take em for free for like 8 months.

Is this more a matter of what you perceive to be normal or what society is pushing as normal?

What I mean is are people treating you different because of your height?

Most everyone is shorter than I am around me (I am 6'3") and we joke around a little about it but its just that...jokes...a persons height doesn't define who they are or how they should be treated and in very few cases does anyone even take that into account when dealing with a person.

I dunno seems a really expensive option for a self esteem issue.
