doesn't help much, but here in PA I was told once (when pulled over) the only legal colors to have facing forward are white and amber, in the rear only allowed red and amber.
Unless ofcourse parked off the street or backing up.
Bmw may have white stock lens but amber bulbs. Here in Georgia we can have claer taillights but the bulbs have to be amber or red. Up front it doesn't matter as long as they are not blue.
