I know you've heard it plenty of times, but the main thing is that you're ok...a car can be replaced, but life cannot, try and remember that! Keep us updated on your plans, or if u have any pics of the wreck...GL

thx everybody for all your words...
I was traveling southbound I-15 around the middle of the valley. it was 4am and I had just finish a total of 13 hrs (between 2 jobs) of work for the day. My eyes shut for 5 seconds and when they opened I was 1 second from hitting an old Taurus.
It felt like I was dreaming when slammed into him and sent both of us spinning. I stopped perfectly facing north in the far west (not driving) lane. he was abouut 200 feet south of me with the entire rear of his car lifted 5 feet up and settled ontop of the cement barrier. I dont know how the hell that happened. From the amount of damage, I dont know if my airbags were supposed to go, but they didn't... The hit felt like a 10mph hit at most, but did about 40mph of damage.
I was ok and looked around to see if any parts of my car were in the lanes. Some huge boxy plastic piece (2 feet long, 6x6" thick) was and I kicked it to the side.
Then I ran back to the Taurus and asked the guy (A 58yr old Asian gentlemen) if he was OK through his closed window, and he just nodded Yes.
I called UHP and they got out there pretty quickly with medical and helped get the guy out of his car. He left in the ambulance in a neck brace.
The officer that was taking car of the paper work and citation said that the legal speed for when you are sleeping is 0. Going 30mph over any speed limit is reckless driving. 75 over would yield a reckless driving ticket. However he didnt do it like that. He write them up for 'Speeding too fast for the condition' with sleeping in ()'s as the conidition. He said it would cost much less and put less points on my record than a reckless driving charge. Thanks for him.
About finding a car. There's no way I can insure a Coupe, so look out Ferio peeps
. I just hope I get something before I start my new job.
