Default Airline lost my luggage

Worst of all, I fly for free b/c my dad used to work for the company (as long as I'm a dependant, and in school i fly for free), so they aren't liable for my bags.

One large suitcase with all my current clothes including the only two jeans that i own , my new shirts i got for christmas - which are the only ones i have that fit, my video card, tv tuner card, extention cord, running shoes, American Eagle jacket, 128 mb thumb drive with very very very important documents, all my socks and underwear, a blanket I got for x-mas, and all my guy stuff (razor, aftershave, toothbrush, etc...)

And my extention cord and 2.5 gal shopvac, brand new, not even opened from the box

I'll never see it again. I own one pair of kacki pants, a few teeshirts now. :wtc:

They're not even going to try and find it?

The airline "lost" my luggage when I flew home for break but it made it over on the next flight which landed a few hours later and was delivered to me the next morning.

Did they tell you it was gone for good?

I fly standby, so my baggage is always last to get on because i am the last one to get on. The won't put baggage on a plane unless the passenger is there.

I was originally flying to Greensboro from Pit. the route was Pit ==> Charlotte ==> Greensboro

I couldn't get on the charlotte flight I needed to get on, so I had to take a later flight to charlotte. Only problem was, all the flights into Greensboro that could make timewise were oversold = I'm not getting on. So I decided to go to Ashville, NC (Pit to-Charlotte to- Ashiville) where my GF lives (we're on winter break from college) They were supposed to retag my bags, I talked to the guy that was supposed to do it. Evidently he didn't do it/the bags never made it to the new gate like they're supposed to for him to tag it.

My bags could be in Pittsburgh still, or In Charlotte, or in greensboro. Trust me, they're not in Ashville

So I'm at my GF's house. I stopped off and bought new underwear and socks, she has one of my teeshirts, and we washed my pants which I had been wearing a few days and were dirty. So i've got somethin to wear, but I can't use my computer, I have nothing to wear after tomarrow.

If i'm on order to fly somewhere they Gov't pays for my ticket..

I could hop on a transport plane from one base to another without much difficulty

other than that, nothin is related in anyway.

what about a perk, like a superior writing a formal letter to the airport regarding a soldier's lost luggage? :rick:
