this also sux for those that go into a vietnamese/chinese restaurant and the server doesnt speak enough english to know what u wanna eat.

 

so from the sound of it... if u go into a chinese restaurant owned and operated in chinese.. you should learn chinese...

 

so from the sound of it....if you own a chinese restaurant in an english dominated society, you should be able to communicate w/your customers.

how would a chinese restaurant in some city where 95% of the people are nonchinese do if they did not speak english?

 

so they arent makng money from it? theiir loosing and going out of business?? if they arent, there intelligent enough to make thhe personal decision to learn it or not... people dont give a shit... if they suffer and have to learn english to surviive.. iim sure they will

 

you're basically saying dont go to a great restaurant and get any mexican,chinese,vietnamese (etc) food if u cant speak whatever they're speaking.....just stick to the all american meal

those people opened the restaurant just to serve people that can understand them...screw every1 else

 

im not saying that at all.... go and enjoy the experience as if you were really in mexico, china... i personally diislike going to a chinese restaurant and being waited on by a white dude english fluent with a spansh speaking chef making my food.. i want authentiicity... tyvm

again, if its a burden for them, they'd learn it, they arent stupid
