Default shippment not recieved, advice?

Shipment Activity Location Date & Time
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DELIVERED PECKVILLE PA 18452 12/30/03 3:34pm

ACCEPTANCE UPLAND CA 91785 12/22/03 4:38pm

Ordered this back in mid November, was on back order till the end of December. USPS says it's delivered, but I never got anything.

I had it delivered to my parents house. Nobody was home at the time, my mom got the mail out of the box about 1/2hour later and said there was no package.

I called the local post office, gave em the tracking number and they said it's been delievered, it's out of their hands and they can't do anything.

Suggestions? What do I do?

I don't think so. I ordered it with just regular shipping.

yea, it was USPS.

the neighbors there are... older. "kids" are in their 20's still living at home. it's a very quiet neighborhood with most of the residents there living there for 10+ years.

I highly highly doubt someone could have stolen it. Possible yes but highly unlikely. We've even had packages delievered to our neighbors and they are great about accepting for us, but they always bring it right over as soon as they see someone home. And I saw them tonight and waved hi to them. No package.

hm..........that's odd. Ask USPS if it's delivered or they just posted the note because they though that nobdy's home? Usually the status will say that it's delivered, but in fact, it's still in the local Post Office waiting to be picked up. If not within # times of notices, they'll return to the sender.

USPS is teh suck. They're cheap and pretty quick, but they lose too many packages.
