Default will Major League Baseball Go On Strike?

I sure hope not, but understandably, the conflicts that exist now need to be resolved

Last time they did, it killed them, and baseball has never been enarly as popular. If they do go on strike, itll reach a new low.

i dont think so cuz the date they have set is a few days after 9/11
if they did something as dumb as that then baseball deserves to fail

If baseball goes on strike again, I'm never going to another game. They lost a lot of fan support the last time, because your average wage-earning baseball fan has no sympathy for millionaire crybabies. I hope they don't strike. I agree with yianni, if they do it will kill them.

i think so. with owners and players being greedy bastards, they'll go on strike. it's sad though ... if they do go on strike, MLB can go to hell ... the NFL season is starting up soon anyways.

Exactly what I was going to say. The MLB's image nor pocket can afford such an event.

I am really sick of baseball right now, between the greed and stupidity of the owners (stupidity being that dude in Texas that paid Ass-Rod a quarter of a BILLION dollars to play baseball), and the greed of the players, it is terrible. I am from Minnesota and the Twins are fielding one of the top 4 teams in baseball right now with a payroll that is in the bottom 5 in the league, proof that it can be done. I am with most people though another strike might drive me away for good...

^^ agreed. I find it very insulting when a pro ball player is making millions per year from the money that enthusiasts spend and complain that they aren't making enough. I think that the only justifyable strike would be a strike by fans in effort to lower ticket prices.
