quick windows XP help

Default quick windows XP help

I've had windows xp installed for quite awhile, but its really starting to bother me that the file type isn't displayed...like if its a JPEG, all it says is "image" instead of "image.jpg". How do I make it so that all file extentions are displayed?

tools
folder options
VIEW tab
uncheck Hide Extensions for known file types

while your in there, uncheck hide protected system files and set to show hidden files
