so i was driving minding my own business when out of nowhere i get pulled over. He said proceeded to say that i could get 1 ticket or many, I said 1 please, he wrote me ticket for no seatbelt, (although i had one on) and said get rid of my front window tint and raise my car up, and put red bulbs in my red/clears. Whats teh deal with a no seat belt, doi i get points insurance problems? or is it just money? (sez $36). In in nj by the way. Thanks.

its a fine thats it. That is the cops way of letting you off easy. Happened to my uncle for making an illegal left turn in Jersey. Cop said to him, are you wearing your seatbelt (which he was) and my uncle said "No Officer" and he got that ticket and went about his business.

Seat belt tickets are just a fine, thats it. So basically, you got one $75 dollar (or in NY at least) fine, as opposed to the 3 or 4 $50 tickets that he could have written you....you lucked out. Take your ticket and be happy

well i guess ill take off the front tint and change the lights, but the car lowering seems like too much to change, maybe that will help. Thanks for the replies, ill just pay it and be happy then.
