I was looking at WRXs this time last year, and I had a salesman tell me that the wagons "were lighter than the sedans" and therefore faster and that "the wagon design makes for a better handling car" :doh:

Wagons are sometimes better balanced than the sedans. :dunno:

yeah, maybe a BMW wagon that is RWD. You have all that open space back there on a wagon....it makes the structure less rigid than if you have a sedan with a solid rear deck

the wagon is actually heavier and has almost a second slower 0-60 time than the sedan. Sounds like he must have had too many wagons on the lot and needed to unload some of them :chuckles:
