Thats what I though too? Well you can put any size Hard drive in there... but it will only recognize 137gig of it.

Nope not true....I have a 160...it recognizes all 160 of the drive. It partitions it off so in actuality I end up with 156 total useable drive space for storage of games.

I wouldn't reccomend a larger drive if it was just wasted space:slap:

It may be that way with a chipset but with a software exploit setup it can handle as big as you want to use.

Yeah I am waiting on getting a DVD burner right now...I just bought those tires and wheels as well as the camera so it set me back a bit in my timing.

Oh yeah...are you running wireless Dave? because I have heard this being a constant problem for wireless users...data transfer rate isn't as consistent or something like that.

I CAT5 in and out of my Xbx all day with no problems but I can only transfer 2 game files at a time or I start getting errors...usually I transfer one at a time.

:slap:

Run it through your network using a router to gain an IP addy for the xbx.

You will see huge improvements in stability of FTP transfers.

Its easy actually.

buy router...plug it in.....hook up CAT5 cables to all machines.....enjoy.

You may have to go into your settings for the router and add the computer you use for XBConnect to the DMZ which basically means your turning off the firewall (no biggie really if you never had one before) in order for XBC to run properly (hosting, voice over IP, etc.).

Its about as simple as running a normal router box and does about the same with a few minor enhancements.
