Default To much time on computer = Bad eye sight?

Does staring at a computer screen too much have any negative effects on your eye sight? Reason I ask is because the other day I went to get my license renewed, and found out I had 20/60 vision in my left eye, when a year ago it was 20/20 or 20/30. In the past year I have been spending much more time on the computer, maybe 2 hours daily on weekdays, and up to 4 or 5 hours daily on weekends, but could this really be whats causing my eye sight to get worse?

yes. too much time staring at your monitor will mess your eyes up. its good to take a break every 15 or so minutes and look away from it.

all myth
too much tv or staring at the comp monitor only strains ur eye
it can not mess it up
ur eyes have lenses that lets light through, so does reading in the dark mess up ur eyes no just straining it again
imagine a camera lense taking a picture in the dark with no flash
does that damage ur camera???
