Default Flying with liqour

Alright, well im flying to NY for some time off i have coming to me. I called the airlines and asked them what their policy on flying with liqour is. Seeing as im going to hang with friends, and i have a whole stockpile here with me in FL i figured ide bring a few bottles with me, instead of buying more. Well anyways the lady that i spoke to said that you can carry up to 5 liters as a carry on, or baggaged. My question to you guys is... well seeing as im only 20, when they check my baggage, or my carry on at the airport, can the dude like ID me, and take it away, or give me crap for having it??

can't a bottle of liquor be used as a weapon:thinking: doesn't sound like something I'd try w/ airport security and such. Although it would be pretty funny to see them let you on the plane w/ 5 liters of alcohol and take a pencil from you, and hey if you have a match you can make molotov cocktails on the plane ride, woo-hoo fun for everyone

I never knew that was a law? I always thought that your not allowed to purchase it when you are under 21. Like i thought you could have it on you as long as its not opened... or am i just wrong LoL. Cause i asked some guys at work, not that they would be 100 percent correct... but they said as long as its a closed bottle, it shouldn't be any problem.... LoL as for a weapon, im definetly going to put in my checked baggage, i dont wanna lug that stuff around.

Once you involve crossing state lines with any sort of item it is legally defined as trafficking, and I believe the age to do so with alcohol is 21. I've been ordering drinks on airplanes since I was 18 so the airline might not id you, but the security people who go through your bags are federal employees and I'd be a bit wary of trying to pass stuff by them.
