when everyone was bidding on his items he had 10 or so positive feedbacks and rated at 100%. he was selling a bunch of new EA games for $29 buy it nows, but required immediate payment. so everyone sent their payments and no one got their stuff. then everyone requested more contact info for the seller and ebay only had emails no address no phone no nothing. but when i registered to sell they were required fields and required a valid credit card and checking account. hopfully it gets resolved and everyone gets compensated.

That's why I usually only buy from people that have good feedback, and have a fair amount of it, too.

I looked at eric's feedback and most of the positive remarks were of the seller buying stuff before selling. It looks like he built up a reputation before he started to sell and scam people. I had a scam like this happen to me 2 years ago on ebay. I contacted SafeHarbor and Paypal, but in the end I got nothing back....ebay did nothing about it either.

You can get their contact information like phone # and address, but it requires a lot of digging on the ebay site.

Good Luck.

ya im gonna report ebay to the BBB if nothing gets resolved. i feel if people pull scams like this ebay should have the right to charge their credit card on file to refund to buyers he scammed or something of the like.

Try filing a fraud report with Paypal as well, usually they will refund your money and lock up the seller's account. Also, contact some of the people he scammed.
