Same here with my old Civic. I blew them at least 5 times. I didn't know any better.

Do you know anything about Low Pass Filter and High Pass Filter? I have my HPF set at 50Hz and and my LPF set at 80Hz +6. I know it is different on different head units but I want to know if having it at +6 will cause my speakers to blow?

Subwoofer

Amp

Front Speakers

Rear Speakers

Head Unit

Here is my whole setup. The reason I keep asking question is that I am trying so hard not to blow my speakers. I want to know everything that can cause speakers to blow and ways to prevent them from blowing, and knowing what the settings should be. I wish someone had the same head unit as I do so they could help me out.

On my head unit I have a setting that says select bass frequency. Does anybody know what that should be set at? There are 4 options 40-63-100-160 (Hz)
