thats good to hear... the evo8 rly has impressed... it first caught my eye with its faster 60-0 brake time than an enzo ferrari.... juss crazy... and i like the looks better than before, and now more than the sti h:... not mention all the coty awards its won :no:

I almost picked one up, this guy was looking for someone to take over his payments.. $2000 + $399/month for 56months :happysad:

I think he was talking about how Mitsubishi makes you sign some statement at time of purchase saying that you will not use it as a daily driver.

yet they send service guys to watch for them at the tracks to void their warranties??

my friend and his co-worker didn't mention anything like that.. I'll have to ask them.

There was some stuff posted here about it actually. That and the fact that at least one dealer had a photographer stationed at a racetrack of some sort and photographed an EVO racing then subsequently voided the warranty.

yeah that i know and read about.

I would think my friend would have said something since he does solo II and track days in his EVO.

btw he used to work for toyota and toyota does the samething (going tot 1/4mi tracks and writing down vin#)
