maybe i'm little slow, but while i was on the way to work today, i witnessed a clean looking white civic hatch(new model) with white rims.. thought it was an si, but it had a type-r logo. it looked nice. are they available in us now? or was this guy with a fake type-r babge?..

 

I seriously doubt it was a CTR

 

unless u got a good look...things to look for:


5 lug
11.3 front brakes
red front strut bar
b16b
red recaros
black housing lights
CTR wing
CTR rear skirt
CTR front grille


even then...the only way to tell is by looking at the motor and VIN. many people can replicate a CTR nowadays

ummm...I was under the impression that new CTR's had the K20 from the RSX-S :eh:

 

In which everything still applies except you're looking for a K20A2.

since i was on the highway, didn't have a good chance to look at, but it did have a spoiler on the roof. i liked the look from behind, but could been just the fake badge, checked the honda.com, no sign of ctr..
