India has ricers...
at least in the hot rod/muscle car era, they had their dignity. They didn't have to fool themselves with 1.6 liter engines, and shitty bodykits/tailights to look cool
Just like many other things, car modding has gone to the shits (once the general public was exposed to it).

Americans were hotrodding their Model Ts!! College students in the 20s (and bootleggers) were big into "hotrodding" the cars of their day. Whatever it meant back then.
And, I'm sure if you go back far enough, you'll find some guy souped up a 1897 Benz tri-wheel steam-engine bike/car/transport. It's just human nature.

There are ricers in China too. I went to Beijing last Summer to visit family and I saw some riced out VWs, Hondas, and some riced out weird chinese made cars.
Even here in Toronto I see riced out cars too....mostly Preludes, Integras, Civics, and Accords, the most common cars to rice out. The typical rice mods are altezzas, stickers/decals and aluminum wings.

Toronto doesn't have many riced out cars, not like what I saw when I went to Wichita.:eek3:
I took some pics too.
Most modified cars here in the T.O. are nice and clean.
