what is the difference between 1157 and 1156?

brighter at one point...... i.e. 1156 would be for reverse lights, 1157 would be for brake lights.

i think 1157s are also turn signals in accords.

I use 1157's in my corners. They act as turn and hazards.
EDIT: wait ... I dont remember. I KNOW 1157's are in my tail lights. Perhaps I dont have 1157's in my corners cause they have 1 filament. :dunno:
