are there benefits in a large class size, as opposed to a smaller class size?
I prefer smaller better for the students. More attention with each student compared to bigger classes. My senior class in highschool was 1200 or so students, my school had 4500 or so students total.

theres 50 students in my homeroom. 4th period (right before lunch) is my english class and that has 35. its easier for me cuz we do this read-around where each student reads a page and the student next to you continues reading-aloud on the next page. so, more students means less reading for me!

Some of you might have heard of it, Woodberry Forest.
He was a lot more prepared for college than I was. He is currently in CalTech ChemE PhD program. or something like that

he was 12, and i swear it felt like having a conversation with a educated high schooler.
but the money needed to attend that school also plays a part in addition to the small classes.

if its a class that involves presentations, then a larger class can give more exposure to personal interaction and enhance public speaking skills.
larger class also =
more chance to cheat
more people to compare answers with
more opinions
less likely to get caught sleeping
better poll consensus

While agree with your points, I also feel that a smaller class with overall be the most beneficial in a student's scholastic career.
