dont have to. We still havent a solid reason for being there in first place. You can't argue it. It's been argued many times but the truth remains. We haven't found WMD.

You can say what you want if you agree with the right wing military industrial complex. Otherwise, you have no rights.

Capturing Saddam was a good thing within the scope of the fact that we're already in Iraq. I'm glad we got him because it will help get us out of Iraq sooner rather than later. I'm disappointed that it will give Bush a PR boost because I still want to see him gone.

Shut up, he didn't actually warn him.
I concur. I hope my friend Ben doesnt get shipped to Iraq like he was going to and my friend Jesse comes back. He's in a mortar crew and they had to return fire at someone, missed, and killed 8 children. He's pretty shook up.

Fox News is biased so it can make all the conservatives feel good about themselves to hear their own propaganda regurgitated back to them by tv.
I concur.

The one thing that made my day, besides being woke up with the almost unbelievable news that saddam is caught, is that some islamic cleric said that he expects the ****ing cowardly little pointless attacks on our troops should go down 90 percent.....thats speculation but hopefully he's right.........if bush gets bin shitface within the next 8-10 months he not only has the next election but could be considered the best president since kennedy
kill me now.

i'm just saying that cause it will already be in my kids history book that bush captured saddam.....personally, i don't like bush, i know it sounds stupid but he just has that wormy schmuck look to him.....i'd rather have a pres that looked like he could still kick some ass like, perhaps clark or even dean......i guarantee this tho.....if the next pres would focus our billions of dollars on another badass moon mission, alot of the terrorism would stop
going to moon prevents terrorism? explain.

Journalism in and of itself is "liberal" or "left wing" or whatever you want to call it. Its goal is the free dissemination of information to the public, whereas if you go towards the right of the spectrum with any sort of form of government there is an innate desire to limit the amount of information available to the public. Not all news outlets have a slant, some try to not take a side when discussing politics. Some outlets do indeed have a bias and they make it well known that they do, for example The Washington Post. Sure they lean to the left, and the editorials in that paper should be a telltale sign to anyone who can figure it out. Nowhere does it state that news outlets have to be completely impartial, which is why papers like The Washington Times or news channels like Fox News are similarly entitled to spin things towards the right. By paying attention to the sources on both sides people are able to take this information and figure out the whole picture. THAT is what journalism is about.

the best journalizm to me is the mags like Time or Newsweek....you can always read their weekly editions and they'll contain more pertinent interesting info than the cnn/msnbc broadcasts.....other than that......right, left, middle, .....whatever....i want facts so I can make up my own mind

I believe (and I could be wrong here) that Newsweek is put out by The Washington Post.
