Default IE Explorer problem

Ok, this has got me really annoyed. It started tonight, and the problem that everytime I click a URL on a website that links to another site, it freezes IE. I have to right-click close to get around it. I downloaded Ad-Aware and ran it, been finding things here and there, something even changed my default home page.

What's up with this and how do I fix it?

Try getting Spybot also. Sometimes that gets some things that AdAware misses.

I've also got this program that seems to be running now called pup. This is getting really annoying. Out of nowhere the default home page keeps changing to some search engine!
