These seem to be part of the coastie girl uniform. Coastie is what people in Madison call stuck up japs from the coasts--these chicks would be stuck up anywhere but they're more noticeable here. They tend to travel in packs. There are a couple of private dorms filled with these girls, and when I walk past them on my way to class I see like, gaggles of coastie girls stepping out all wearing the same boots. It's pretty funny.

Oh and did I mention that they wear them with like black leggings and they all look really stupid, but I don't mind because spandex covered by nothing is generally a good thing.

 

I have the same kinda thing, but they are slippers. Super comfy for around the house.

 

Yeah but you're not a stuck up little girl that wears them outside with all of your stuck up girl friends while walking around town being stuck up.
