i hate these things! Before I would have a preview for "Timeline" playing every 15 minutes...now it's for CareerBuilder.com. Sometimes i'll be sitting here and wondering what is playing and making noise, then i see its my buddy list window playing a video.

DAMN YOU AOL/TIME-WARNER!!

I am this close to getting Trillian. I never found it worth while before as I only use AIM but seriously, these ads are annoying. I have ads removed courtesy of dead aim but the sound still plays.

close AIM completely

go into your AIM dir, delete the file advert.ocm

copy and rename admin.ocm to advert.ocm

reopen AIM. No ad's :thumbup:
