Had to post this again.

 

the :jlammy: one was created way back in the day when HAN had it's attack of the postwhores. In the old days (i can't believe i remember this), we had a thing called POSTWHORES. Everyday, we kept constant counts of how many posts each person had. It became an all out posting war between the regs in the basement. Jlammy and other admins/mods had to constantly kill threads and delete posts to trim the posting down. The uber-high posting resulted in the cost of keeping HAN alive to be very high. Chris, at one time, had to ask HAN for donations (this was before we EVER had any of the sponsors we have now). I am proud to say, i donated.

Now STFU and keep the smilies. If you don't like them, don't use them. the :ghey: and :tfhg: (which is hardly ever used) stays. I know the :ghey: one is used a lot and i'd rather have a smilie than read GHEY everywhere.
