No, for many reasons that have already been posted all over this board. I hope the troops get home as soon as they can before we have any more casualties and this turns into another Vietnam.

I hear there's nothing quite like the smell of burning draft cards in the morning to make a protest that much better.

I do for many reasons:

1) Saddam was the current generation of Hitlers, We have found hundreds now have mass graves with hundreds of bodies, nd they where even blindfolded, Which shows they where mass killed, and the eyewitness's who have told stories of how his brother would put people in cages with his live Lions and watch the get eaten to death, And countless rapes of woman and young girls. The people of Iraq had to live a life non of us in a country as blessed as ours can even picture in our head, and this is why so many people want to say there is no way the stories can be true, Well just because we dont have it happen here doesnt mean it doesnt happen. He killed thousands of innoscent people ( His own people ) and jailed thousands more on false charges.

2)He has used chemical weapons against other countrys and even his own people, So just because we havent found any yet or even if we dont, he has had them so they are out there somewhere.

3)Terrorism: The country was yet another location for Al Quida to hide and train thier people, Saddam was involved in so many levels in this, against his own people and other countrys.

In order to help stabalize the middle east we had to do this, The bad part is the new battle ground for terrorism has shifted to Iraq, and itmay keep the US from getting hit here, But now Alquida till we can stabalize the country thats where the war on terrorism will be fought, But better there then here I say.

I support it...but that is no secret the regular posters in this forum.

I wanted to post more but I am not going to rehash this debate. The world will be a better place with a free, and secure Iraq though. I hope that is one thing everyone can agree on.

1) Just because we don't like a country's leader, doesn't mean we attack them and conquer them. If we did that, the US would be at war with half the world. The rate we're going at, we will be shortly. The Chinese do it just as bad but you don't see us raising a fit about them. Why? They supply most of the products purchased by US Citizens.

2)Those chemical weapons are what we gave him in the first place. When he gassed his own people, we turned the other cheeck because US military corporations were profitting on selling weapons to both him, and the Iranians. As long as you buy our products, we don't care what you do to your people. The fact we haven't found WMD doesn't matter. Before you can legitimally launch an invasion (and totally ruin the fact that we NEVER strike first), you have to PROVE they have those WMD. Bush wen't in on circumstancial evidence. The same goes for a court of law. You have to PROVE the accused of wrong doing before you sentence him.

3)Terrorism is in the eye of the beholder. We funded Osama Bin Laden and his militants to fight Soviets. It depends on which side of the fence you're on. Al Queda trained here in the US too. What are we going to do? Police state in the USA? I hope not.

Actually, Osama bin Laden has called Saddam Hussein an infidel because, under Saddam, the government of Iraq was secular (non-religious). Al Qaida partnering with Saddam would be like the Church asking martians for help during the Crusades -- it wouldn't make any sense.

Brett2000EX - if you think Saddam was a bad guy, read up on Kim Jong Il, leader of North Korea. He's far more insane than Saddam ever was and he actually has nuclear warheads and missiles capable of hitting Tokyo. If you were in favor of going to war in Iraq, then you must also want the US to invade N. Korea, Libya, and Iran, right?
