i trim. i've shaved in the past, but a couple of days later, when it starts growing in again, it itches like crazy. and if i tried to shave every day, it'd dry out and itch and i'd cut myself. therefore, i trim.

Chicks like it, and it makes you look bigger....where's the down side? I do mine with my beard trimmer. But a bit of advice, be really careful when you're trimming around the sacular region. Getting it in the trimmer teeth is like getting it caught in a zipper.
