I try and figure out what advantages something like a neon has over a civic/integra.

I don't hate domestics though. I just prefer imports.

Actually, from what I've found out from personal experience, most domestic racers are damn tired of kids in suped up shitty imports with a bunch of body mods, an AEM CAI, and a fartcan muffler, thinking that they are the shit against, say, a 390...

Though, I have yet to know a domestic guy that's talked shit about my car, whether to my face or behind my back... That's mainly cause I don't run around saying stupid things like "VTEC is a replacement for displacement" and I don't claim my car to be better cause of it's superior hp/L ratio and other BS.... I know they can smoke me and I let them know it, but they know I like my car and for what I need, it's an excellent car.

 

the problem with the import haters is that they unevenly compare their domestic to our imports. they will compare a higher end import such as a corvette to a base model import like a civic, when a more realistic comparison would be a type-r or something. the domestic equivelant of a civic is more like a neon or cavalier, but they fail to realize that. this is why they feel so superior to us :fawk: all u ignorant domestic owners

 

An ITR is not worth comparing to a Corvette.
