They call that snow???
I saw a suby outback spun around:thinking: Also saw a ford exploder stuck on the side of the road spinning all 4.....I think he was trying to cook a turkey w/ his trasfer case:lmfao:
When it started snowing in SI on Friday every1 forgot how to drive, I think they forgot you can't stop in snow, saw about 3 parked cars slammed into:eek3:
Saturday morning none of the roads were plowed and there was at least 6" of snow down and a lot of cars stuck in embankments. If you have FWD and don't know how to drive in the snow stay the fawk home...I'm gonna invest in some 30' tow-straps(just looped material no metal hooks) and start charging ppl $50 to pull them out when they get stuck. Gonna have to write up a disclaimer and have them sign w/ their DL #...for safety reasons.
Me and my friend's were doing some shopping while most of the population was stuck indoors, it was nice...and the parking lots were fun:naughty:

I drive my fwd every day of the year and have never put studs on my car yet...kinda funny to see people in AWD vehicles putting snow tires and studs on and still not being able to drive worth a crap.
Besides I am going to be rolling the Jeep this year through most the winter too...to bad it doesn't snow here though

People in general just can't deal with a little bad weather...used to be it took a foot of snow to close schools and shut roads down, now its 3 or 4 freakin inches?

I think a problem for you guys may be that you don't have all of the equipment to handle it, or your cities there don't know how to handle 12 inches of snow in one night as well as say suburbs of Buffalo, Rochester, or Syracuse can. We get 12 inches of snow and most of the streets are cleared, salted, and we get up and go to work and school because, well, it's just the way it is. I don't think the Accord could go though 12 inches of snow without a problem, but 12 inches and plowed streets all you have to worry about is sliding, which is to say--difficult when there is ice under it. We manage.

well its mostly just the mountains i live in. its not very populated, so it takes them hours and hours to plow and salt, and when they do, the do a shitty job.

whether people think they can drive in snow or not isnt the point. the point is that peoples lives are more important. they close schools b/c a lot of people live in the middle of nowhere, like jess, and areas around me. my mom drives a school van for mentally challenged HS kids and the one girl that she had to pick up tomorrow lives back a long dirt road, that is never plowed. my mom isnt going to risk her life or the girls life. thats just stupid.
after the accident i had last year, im terrified to drive, even if theres still snow in peoples yards!! thats what my accident was from, some snow that had somehow been tossed into the middle of my lane that i didnt notice until i came around that blind corner....
anyway, my point, people's lives are the most important thing. i dont give a shit how good of a drive u think u are...there's always exceptions and accidents always happen.
