I held the door for a chick at the UW Oshkosh library but she walked past me and entered a different door. :dunno: I tried. Haven't done anything good for a stranger since then.

 

what does the holidays have anything to do this. i do whatever i can whenever i can regardless of who, where and when it is

duh, and if u've never had an experience, either dont post or comment on someone else's... its supposed to be a thread to look at and feel good about... ESP since han's been so dramatic lately... but obviously that kind of thread's not possible..

im jus sayin that posting this kind of stuff deems attn whoring status. performing good turns on a daily basis is great. i help out where i can, and do go out of my way to aid when i can. to choose isolated incidents and post isnt gonna do me any good, and aint gonna make me feel any better..

Okay....well I do stuff like this on a continual basis, like help out at the food bank. My best memorable one was in Vancouver. I was at the booze shop with my two cousins. On the way in we saw two bums, they asked for smokes so I gave them my menthols. However I could not get into the booze shop because I forogt my ID, so I went to wait outside and lite a smoke up with them.

They asked for money but I forgot it my wallet so I could not give them money. Still, I had a nice chat with the homeless guy about where he lived (behind the bushes) and where he was from and stuff. Also shared his views on being homeless and stuff. Anyways when my cousin came back out I asked for money and gave it to the bum then as we drove away we saw him crossing the street to buy food from the 711. Nice feeling knowing he would have a meal of sorts.
