Default Anyone been to the Indy 500 race?
I am thinking about going next year or year after. Seen the F1 race, but I really wanna see the Indy cars go 250mph on the oval.

i've been to indy 500 time trials before, but never went on race day

I kind of have to agree. I know there have to be at least a few circle track fans here. I'm really wondering, WHAT is the appeal? The only thing I've really heard is from those who aren't really automobile enthusiasts; "I like to see the crashes!" It's kind of messed up when you think about it. h:
