why is it i can always count on orange chicken from panda express but not from a authentic chinese fast food spot

panda express chow mein = :ugh:
the only thing i like from there is the egg rolls. the bbq pork is horrendously fatty and the orange chicken leaves much to be desired.

ive never ordered orange chicken from a chinese resturant before and not many chinese people do. i rarely eat panda express too
