A warning to anyone thinking of buying something from overseas!!
Read this............this is from cycletrader.com and is also happening on ebay.
2003 YAMAHA R-1, 003 YZF R1 Brand new!!! Barely used! I will pay shipping to your door in three days or less! WARNING TO BUYERS- OFFERS LIKE THESE ARE BEING MADE NOW ON CYCLETRADER.COM-- THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS WHO DO NOT EVEN OWN THE BIKE THEY CLAIM TO BE SELLING. Definate tip-offs that they are scammers-- 1)Listing US location and phone, but claiming to be somewhere overseas. 2)Offering to include door-to-door shipping in their price- this is impossible! Such overseas air shipment costs thousands of dollars. 3)Prices too good to be true on low mileage/no mileage US-spec bikes which "just happen to be overseas". 4)Requests for all or portion of payment in advance via Western Union. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY. COMPLAIN TO CYCLE TRADER ABOUT THIS PRACTICE NOW, BECAUSE IF YOU ARE RIPPED OFF THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!
